I can't get the thought of my cat dying out of my mind, like I keep imagining what it was like for her. I'm actually beginning to think that these neighbors have her and just got her mixed up with their cat.

Something similar happened once with one of our previous cats, actually. We hadn't seen her in like a week or two, and my mom decided to drive around town, looking for her. She found a dead cat lying on the ground, and thought it was our cat. We buried her. About 3 days later we find our cat coming meowing, walking through our backyard. She ended leaving again, eventually, and we haven't seen her for about 3 years.

Marie was smart enough to avoid cars and stuff, and I can't even imagine a cat like her dying like that, despite the horrible images. If she did really die, I'd like to imagine that the scream I heard a few days ago at 4 am was something attacking her.

Or maybe this is normal? This is the first time someone or something really close has died.

My cat, Marie. She was the cutest cat I'd ever seen. She was black with a small little white spot on her neck. I can't remember if she walked over to me, or if I just want to believe that, but I do remember how I saw her, and I wanted to take her home, and I wanted her to feel like she could be my friend. I would wear hoodies a lot, and she'd climb into the hood when she was little. When she got bigger, she started climbing on my shoulders, and staying there, even when I would walk. I like to think that she really trusted me.

She'd jump on my lap if I was there, she'd follow me around a lot.

After a few days of not knowing where she was, my mom asks some neighbors if they had seen her.

She got killed on the road, and they had buried her thinking it was their cat.

I think I am experiencing a Xandy. Though not as bad. We can't afford health insurance. We could not go to the grocery store today because we couldn't afford it.

The good thing is, is that my mom said that if we were to fix up our house, and get it re-appraised, we'd be able to save over $700 a month. So we're working on... getting that to work.

In other news, I decided to try playing Sonic Heroes again (stfu plz) because of some awesome videos Curi showed me the other day. Well, yesterday. I played for like 10 minutes then remembered how boring and pointlessly hard it was. They fucked up Sonic's homing attack. This was one of the coolest things they did to the Adventure games (I think it was also in 3D Blast but that was a bad game so the attack debuts in Adventure). Not only does the Heroes homing attack look bad, it makes you drop really fast (and possibly kill Sonic), and will home in on any nearby enemy no matter what direction you aimed for with the control stick. Another thing that really annoyed me was like... the constant talking. "HEY IT LOOKS LIKE A PALACE" "LOL EGGMAN MUST BE HERE" "GUYS LET'S SWITCH TO SPEED FORMATION". I know it's 3 characters there, and it must be pretty awkward if you're all trying to get through a zone without talking but you don't need to comment on how pretty the stage looks every 5 seconds.
